Andrew T. Morales
August 25, 1946 - April 25, 2022
On April, 25, 2022. Andrew T. Morales took his last breath on earth and his first step in glory. Andy, Jalisco or Lisco to family and friends, was born on August 25, 1946, the youngest child of Josephine and John Rivera Morales. He was a truck driver in the army and proudly served throughout his military career earning the rank of Sergeant E5. Andy was a joy-filled soul who left everyone he met with a smile on their face. He was an amazing son, brother, husband, father, uncle, cousin and friend, but is best known for his love of Jesus. In 1976, Andy became a pastor and evangelist who me people exactly where they were. Whatever their status in life, he treated everyone the same. He saw people like Jesus does with inherent value and purpose and by the time he left them they knew it as well. During his last few months of life his work for the Lord only grew. He and his wife began giving out a single mustard seed in a bottle teaching and loving on hospital staff, family, friends, and strangers, bringing to life Matthew 17:20- Jesus said, “If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, be moved from here to there and it will move Nothing will be impossible for you.” Each smile, kind word, hand held, and prayer said began a ripple effect that continues even now moving and growing with each life touched. His final wish was an encouragement for everyone to love Jesus with all your heart, be who God created you to be, fulfill your purpose, and share Jesus wherever you go. Start your own ripple effect with your seed of faith and see what God will do. Andrew T. Morales is survived by his wife, Geraldine Burnett Morales, mother-in-law Maxine Clement, Kathleen (Aaron), Rebecca, Alexandria, and Naomi Zabell, Cheryl (Jason), Izaiah Morales, Brayden Gutierrez and Kaleilani Rivera-Sosa, Carolyn, Shianne, and Darcy Collier, Darren-Todd (Cathy), Lisa-Reynee (Ligaya), Donald (Jessica), sisters Lauralye Torres, Margot Baggie, Geraldine Muhlenbruch, Berna (Frank) Kane, and innumerable nieces, nephews and grandchildren by blood and hanai.
