Apolonario Nabre Fonda, Sr. Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Apolinario “Enar” Nabre Fonda Sr. passed away peacefully in his home on Sunday of January 16, 2022 at the age of 86. He died from a Pneumonia and Pulmonary aspiration in the lungs. Apolinario was born June 5, 1935 in Baybay, Leyte, Philippines to the late Cornelia and Monico Fonda. He was the oldest of the four children. He married Concepcion and five kids were born in this union. Apolinario and his wife migrated to US on March 21, 2001 and live on the same house with his late daughter Madonna and became a US Citizen after. He was a devoted father and a sweet loving grandfather to his children and grandkids. He likes to play harmonica, plays guitar, sing and take pictures. He worked as maintenance in Del Monte Pineapple Plantation for 6 years from 2002 to 2008 and worked in Makaha Valley Country Club for 5 years from 2008 to 2013. Apolinario is preceded in death by Concepcion (wife), Madonna Cabahit (daughter) and Celroy (Grandkid). Apolinario is survived by children; Rey Fonda (Son), Jeana Cabahit (Daughter), Apolinario Fonda Jr. (Son), Conchilene Cabahit (Daughter) and his two adopted grandkids Reycele and Celrey together with the other grandchildren and great grandchildren; Dennis, Ralph, John, Narcirene, Marilou, Jerahmeel, Myirele, Laurence Chery Ann, Kiesha, Queenie, Amanda and Cassius. Viewing will be held at Oahu Mortuary on February 25, 2021 at 5:00 – 9:00pm. Funeral will be held at Hawaii Memorial Park on February 26, 2022 at 1:00 pm.
