Bryan Loren Sanderson Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Bryan Loren Sanderson passed away at home on January 17th, 2022. Viktor E. Frankl said ““The meaning of life differs from man to man, from day to day, from hour to hour. What matters, therefore, is not the meaning of life in general but rather the specific meaning of a person's life at a given moment.”. Bryan was born on April 29th, 1987 to Theresa and Keith Sanderson. In his 34 years of life, Bryan managed to be a myriad of things; an avid gamer, self-declared goth, passionate activist against injustice, prolific content creator, and a steadfast and loyal friend. Bryan excelled at finding consequence in the minutiae of everyday living and knew how to savor the little things. The pleasant kinship of barbecuing with your neighbors on a warm summer night. The unbridled delight of a spontaneous workplace escapade. The thrilling exhilaration of an adventure in Chinatown with new friends. The blissful contentment of a really good bite of banana pudding. His was a life lived simply and sincerely. His absence is a reminder to take nothing for granted. There were few things that brought him more joy than sitting down to play a video game after a long day of providing service with a smile at Tricked Out Accessories or T-mobile. His immersion into that world led to the creation of over 300 YouTube videos, almost 150 TikToks, and a mass of friends across the world too numerous to count. In the days after his passing, many of those friends reached out to let us know of the impact he had on their lives. In the age of Zoom meetings and Facebook DMs, it’s easy to dismiss virtual relationships as inferior and superficial when compared to their physical counterparts. Bryan believed that true connection can transcend geography if your heart is open and your internet service provider is reliable. Perhaps the greatest lesson to be gleaned from Bryan is that the best things in life are fleeting. In the days after his passing, a very good friend shared the following insight that perfectly captured the spirit of Bryan’s life: “The truth is that the ephemeral is a thousand times more exciting than what remains, let's be honest. Why? Well, because its very nature forces us to live it intensely... just in case”. In honor of Bryan, whenever you happen to think of him, please take a second to relish something good in your life. Nothing would have given him more satisfaction than to precede a smile on the face of someone he cared about. Bryan joins his mother Theresa Sanderson, his grandmother Minnie Sanderson, his grandfather Francis Sanderson, his Uncle Gregory Sanderson, and his Aunt Francine Sanderson in the heaven that he resolutely believed in. He leaves behind his father, Keith Sanderson, step-mother, Jui-Lien Sanderson, his aunt Janice Sanderson and a host of cousins. He is also survived by a step-sister, brother-in-law, niece, and a multitude of beloved friends.
