Dean Kikau Huddy, 55, of Ewa Beach Hawaii has gained his Heavenly Wings on Saturday, May 1, 2021. Dean was born in Honolulu Hawaii on October 31, 1965. He is predeceased by his beloved wife Malia Racoma Huddy and is survived by his father Trask (Kikau) Huddy, mother Loke (Dudoit) Huddy, brother Peter (Lena) Huddy, sisters Tracie (Kalani) Huddy Balino, Noel (Jason) Huddy and sister-in-law Tanya (Kawika) Lee. He is also survived by nephews Joshua, Cagen Rey, Keola, Keoni, and Jaykob. Nieces Charis, Jaycielyn, Gieani, Kasten Blu, Kiara, Heather, Nomala, Kalei, Jaeda and Jaime-Lee. Grand-nephews Zayland, Chason, Maze, Kahiau, Hazen. Grand-nieces Leilani, Makamae, Mya, Julia and numerous uncles, aunties, cousins and friends. Dean attended his elementary years of schooling at Lehua elementary, Pohakea elementary, and Kaimiloa elementary. He then completed his seventh and eighth grade years at Ilima Intermediate and later went on to graduate in 1983 from James Campbell High School in Ewa Beach. He was very active in sports. While growing up he participated in baseball football and basketball. Although he was good in football and basketball, he was highly recognized for his baseball abilities. He was a member of Campbell High School‘s baseball team while attending there and has won numerous team awards as well as individual awards throughout his years in sports. Dean was a very intellectual human being and was very highly known for his artistic ability and his creative mind. He was very humorous as well. After high school he had taken upon several jobs with companies like Bordell Construction, Reynolds Recycling, Gems Hawaii and some local cable company as a delivery person. At the age of 33, on August 28, 1998 he married his beloved wife of 19 years and had sadly lost her to cancer on March 6, 2017. Although Dean and his wife had no children, he treated all his nephews, nieces, grand nephews, and grand nieces as if they were his own. He loved them all dearly. Dean was a very devoted man to all his family and friends and most especially to our Heavenly Father and His son Jesus Christ as he was baptized a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Dean will surely be loved and missed by many. Till we meet again, R.I.L Dean. WE LOVE YOU ETERNALLY!! ❤️ 🙏 Services for Dean Kikau Huddy will be held on Saturday June 19, 2021 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 91-1154 North Rd., Ewa Beach HI 96706. Viewing will be from 9-10:30 am with services to follow. There will be no burial following the services. We kindly ask that masks be worn at all times during the funeral service and that social distancing be practiced as well. Thank you for all your love and support during this time of bereavement.
