Donna Kuuipo Plunkett

March 30, 1968 - January 3, 2021

Donna was born on March 30, 1968 in Honolulu, Hawaii. Donna passed away at home on January 3, 2021. She is survived by her Soulmate Palani K. Carden, 6 children, Tonee and Lehuanani Plunkett, Maohi Arthur-Carden, Leia’ala Carden, Abigail Zedekiah-Carden and Nikole Ana Francis-Carden and grandson Joston Koa-Plunkett. Parents Geraldine “Lei” and Tony Manzo, sister Rochelle Yocolano, brothers, Eric Cureton, Mark and Kalani Manzo. She had many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunties, uncles and close friends. Donna was a graduate of Kalani High School in 1986. She worked at various jobs, was a participant of the Aloha Festivals event for a few years, but her passion was helping people. Whether it was taking them to their doctors or dental appointments, store runs and babysitting others children. If you needed her she was there. She was a caregiver for her dad until her passing. She always put everyone’s needs before hers. Never expecting anything in return. That’s the kind of person she was, if you knew her then you’d agree. She loved Palani, her children and grandson. They meant the world to her. She loved cooking, taking her Ohana to the beach, Ohana gatherings, her Hawaiian heritage and was a homemaker. o He gives power to the weak, And to those who have no might He increases strength Isaiah 40:29 We miss and love you. Rest In Paradise Donna. Until we meet again you’ll always be in Our Hearts. We’d like to thank everyone for your prayers and expressions of sympathy to the Ohana. We appreciate everyone of you. Take the time to say I Love You and make great memories for Tomorrow is not Promised. We encourage everyone to post your pictures and memories of Donna here. Because of the COVID19 restrictions a Celebration of Life for Donna will be planned for a later date. My Mom by: Tonee and Lehuanani Plunkett My mom was an amazing person. You could always count on her to talk story to, ask questions or she’d just sit and listen to you while you vented. She would always think about how she could help in any way possible. She’d do your taxes, watch your kids, take you to run your errands. She would always encourage you to do the things you loved and say things fearlessly. She was an Aries which meant that she wasn’t afraid to show how passionate she felt for something that she believed in. She was quick to give chances but once her mind was made up, no one could change it. She was hardheaded but I guess that made it easier for her to deal with the rest of the family. Her kids gave her the biggest headaches so she ended up adopting everyones children while making them believe that she wasn’t tired of wiping other peoples butts. The dance floor is probably where she is up there, looking all skinny with her beautiful smile and never ending positivity. I can see her grabbing everyone together for the electric slide.
