Eulalia Maglalang Cunanan transitioned peacefully Saturday, September 11, 2021 at the age of 87 at Queens Medical Center West Oahu, Hawaii. She was in the presence of her loving family. She was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother. Eulalia is survived by her husband Angel, 3 children Josephine, Kilmer, Allan, and 6 grandchildren Stacey, Chris, Mark, Michael, Emily and Allyson. Eulalia was born in San Fernando Pampanga Philippines February 12,1934. Daughter of Jacinto Maglalang and Felipa Salas. She had two brothers and two sisters Jesus, Emilio, Sitang and Beatrice Maglalang. She proudly tells the story to her children and grandchildren that she was sibling to a Legendary star lantern maker, her eldest brother Jesus Maglalang in San Fernando, San Jose Pampanga. On March 1970, together with two of her children daughter Josephine 8 years old, Son Kilmer 5 years old travelled to the United States to be with her husband Dr. Angel C. Cunanan. They stayed in Daly City California with family for a few months and then preceded to Livingston New Jersey for one year where her husband Angel did his training and education at St. Barnabas Medical Center New Jersey. They moved back to Daly City California and stayed another year where she studied cosmetology. Eulalia moved with her husband and children throughout the United States from west coast, mid-west, east coast and Hawaii where her husband trained, studied and worked as a medical doctor. They lived in Honolulu Hawaii where her youngest son Allan was born. Eulalia worked as a beautician in Kalihi Hawaii at Novela's Beauty Salon. After Hawaii she moved back with her husband and children to the mainland, Westfield Massachusetts. After eight months she moved to the Midwest, Holton & Topeka Kansas and worked at a beauty salon. From Kansas she moved to New Orleans Louisiana where her husband trained in Tulane University. Next, she headed to California, this time in Souther California San Pedro, she stayed here with her family for a few months and then traveled towards Nothern California, Sunnyvale (Silicon Valley). In Sunnyvale Eulalia started a care home with her daughter Josephine. She then moved back to Honolulu Hawaii and worked with her husband at their own business the Family Medical Clinic in Nanakuli, and served the community for thirty plus years. Eulalia retired with her husband in the year 2017 and lived with daughter Josephine and her family. Throughout her life she traveled the United States, Europe and Philippines. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, tending to her love of flowers specifically orchids. She always had a green thumb. Eulalia will be the most remembered for the love she spread throughout her family, husband, children and her pride and joy for her grandchildren, Stacey, Chris, Mark, Michael, Emily and Allyson and her family in the Philippines. She was always affectionate and willing to help her family and friends. She will be missed by all, our mom Eulalia Maglalang Cunanan.
