Gary Leslie Ruby, age 73, was found deceased at home, in Honolulu, Hawaii, on Tuesday, March 8, 2022. Born and raised in Montreal, Canada, Gary came to Honolulu shortly after receiving his Law Degree at McGill University in Montreal in 1973. Honolulu thereafter became his beloved home. He retired after having served as Regulation Analyst for the Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs of the State of Hawaii. Gary was a quiet and humble man who deeply loved Theater, Music, Literature, and Travel…..but decidedly first and foremost in his life were family and friends. He is loved and missed as a son, a brother, a brother-in-law, an uncle, a great-uncle, a cousin, and a friend. He will be laid to rest on Wednesday, April13th at Oahu Cemetery Chapel with Services at 11:30 AM, followed by burial at Oahu Cemetery.
