Marie Blossom Torres 68 of Kalihi, Hawaii passed away peacefully on the evening of January 18, 2022 at the Care Center of Honolulu. She is survived by her 4 children, Jose M. Aguirre III, Jesus M. Aguirre, Jessica M. Aguirre and Joel M. Aguirre. She has 7 grandchildren Jezmarie 20, Michael 15, Jazlyn 15, Aiyannah 12, Xzavier 10, Phoenyx and Maxwell 4 1/2. Also her beloved son and daughter in law Kevin Masami Sano and Savannah Marie Aguirre. She is also survived by her beloved sisters Rita May Reyes, Leslie (Rocky) Nichols, and Valerie May Simpson. Marie Blossom was born and raised in Kalihi and lived very briefly in El Paso, Texas with our father Jose M. Aguirre Sr. She was a very talented and gifted mother, wife, sister and friend to all who knew her and her hazel eyes are something to remember. Her artwork was unique, her poetry full of heart, her stories she could create to entertain us on long bus rides were so good that it would also intrigue the other passengers. Her cooking was always something special, even plain flour and water fed her children during hard times. Being raised in the old puertorican ways she carried with her the stories, the wisdom, the history of her family, the catholic upbringing and how females are supposed to be brought up and educated in life and tradition, of course those times are quite different from now but she instilled them in her children and grandchildren. As her only daughter I took it all to heart and I hope I made her proud. During her final days my brother Jesus and I stood side by side as big brother and little sister before her and told her it's OK to go when she is ready and that everything will be alright with her children and grandchildren, that when we cry and grieve so hard and heavily for her it is because we loved and needed her so very much, the pain that we feel with the loss of her is because of love. To my brother Jesus, you are a true warrior of the soul, our champion, mom and I thank you for all that you are and all that you represent, our protector, our humble brother and son. We love you more than you could ever know and proud is an understatement of how we feel. Keep moving forward Susito! Joel and Vanna, life has been a continuous journey for you both and life has thrown some hard lessons your way, but mom was always so proud and relieved that you both pulled through each one together, not just as husband and wife, but as mommy and daddy, as true friends and as soul mates. Keep on going through your journey in life and live in happiness and laughter as she always wanted for you both. Do not be dismayed by the hardships that can happen in life, she said to face them with strength and courage, you guys got this! We love you guys and stay strong! Manuel, may God bless you and help you to find your path and to find yourself. You are loved. Daddy, we love you so much! You are a good dad and wonderful grandpa and mom went home to God with you in her heart and she wants you to continue to live and be happy! Until you meet her again many years from now. Jezmarie, my Peaches and Grandma's queen, thank you to our beautiful first born girl, like your father Jesus, proud is an understatement. We love you baby girl! Tia Rita and Tia Val, my brothers and I thank you for your prayers, your love and support of us during these hard times, may the Lord be with you and bless you both. We love you!! Finally, Tia Rocky and Tio Ralph, without you both my brothers and I would be lost. Mom was blessed because she has her 3 sisters who loved her dearly, each of you had a very special bond with her and each of you had to say goodbye, thank God it wasn't too late for you to do that.
