Syleen Leialoha Aki Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Syleen Leialoha Aki also known as “Salina” or “Lingy” was the fourth child born to Frederick Aki Sr. and Glory Corpuz on July 1, 1970. She was born and raised in Kalihi, Oahu then moved to Waianae in 1982. She then moved to the Big Island in 1993 where she resided until moving back to Oahu in 2000. Syleen was a person with a heart of gold. She was always willing to give the shirt off her back, even though she needed it the most. She always wore her heart on her sleeve and never failed to show others how deeply she cared and loved for them. Though she had many challenges, including mental health issues, she never stopped loving and caring for her children. Anyone who knew Syleen would say she was, energetic, beautiful, charismatic and her presence could brighten anyones day. She is survived by her mother Glory Aki, her siblings, Juelynn (Moses) Iokua, Jason (Sharlene) Corpuz, Seon Aki, Frederick Aki Jr., and Jarret Aki. She is also survived by her children, Tiana Kialoa, Liana (Darren) Jose, Breana (Kale) Rego, Richard Kialoa Jr., Shawnae Kialoa, Shania Aki, Colt Aki, Kiana Aki, and sixteen grandchildren.
